Responsibilities
Serve as the technical lead across multiple revenue-critical applications; set architecture standards and ensure high-quality delivery
Manage and mentor two senior developers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and prioritization
Stabilize and organize current codebases, pipelines, and workflows; bring discipline to backlog grooming, release planning, and cross-team coordination
Partner with product/management to translate business goals into technical roadmaps that drive online revenue and support new product development
Lead DevOps and deployments; own CI/CD practices, environment management, and production reliability
Oversee DBA tasks (schema design, performance tuning, backup/restore) and ensure application/infrastructure design aligns with scalability, security, and cost-efficiency goals
Champion agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), setting rituals, improving cycle time, and measuring outcomes
Qualification
Required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
5+ years of experience in development
Advanced quantitative abilities and comfort with complex numerical concepts
Solid foundation in algebra, statistics, and problem-solving
Ability to apply mathematical reasoning to support decision-making, validate assumptions, and solve technical or operational challenges
Experience with Java, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Thymeleaf / JavaScript
Experience with MySQL 8/MariaDB 10, Apache Tomcat 9, ANT
Experience with Eclipse, GitHub
Experience with Windows Server 2019/2026, Windows 10/11
Strong Excel skills
Fluent in Visual Basic for Applications
Strong mathematical background including statistics, algebra, calculus
Experience with AWS
Experience with AI-related tools used in development (e.g., CodeAnt, Copilot, ChatGPT)
Experience with process mapping and workflow documentation
DevOps and Deployment ownership
Application & infrastructure design
DBA responsibilities
Project management using Scrum/Kanban
Prior experience as a Technical Lead
Confidence in establishing team norms, clarifying ownership, and organizing complex initiatives
Preferred
Aviation background is a plus
