Supporting Safety, Environmental, Operations, Welding, Electrical, Technical, and Chemistry teams
Equipment inspections

Design
Develop engineering knowledge
Demonstrate leadership
Ensure smooth operations
Evaluate, select, adapt, and modify standard engineering techniques
Coordinate projects to meet cost and time objectives
Collaborate with team members across various departments
Conducting training sessions
Mentoring junior staff
Participating in cross-functional meetings to share best practices and innovative solutions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relevant engineering experience
Full knowledge of engineering theories and principles
Skilled in advanced techniques and modification of theories, precepts, and practices
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to serve as team project lead
Strong personal computer skills
In-depth knowledge of various computer applications, with the ability to perform engineering calculations using applicable software programs
Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
Oral and written communication skills (includes technical writing)
Effective decision-making skills
Ability to interpret codes, regulations, and practices
Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems
Ability to process information quickly and manage multiple tasks
Ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment
Computer skills and application of software programs (e.g., Matlab, Excel)
Bachelor's in Engineering required
Preferred
8+ years of relevant engineering experience
Extensive knowledge of engineering theories, principles, and practices
Full knowledge of business/financial and contractual matters
Recognized expert by other engineers and management in assigned area
Provides expert technical advice to other engineers and management
Strong technical and organizational leadership skills
