Litigation Claims Assistant - Temporary

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate physical claims files and documentation to determine litigation status
Identify and categorize litigated vs. non-litigated claims based on defined criteria
Organize, label, and update files to ensure accurate record-keeping
Assist with basic administrative support related to claims and litigation files
Communicate findings to claims or legal team members as needed
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company and regulatory standards

Required

Prior experience in insurance claims, litigation support, legal assistant, or claims administration preferred
Familiarity with litigation terminology and claims file documentation is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to work through high volumes of physical files
Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
Proficiency with basic office tools (email, document tracking, spreadsheets)
