They are seeking a Project Engineer to join their Aviation team, where the role will involve providing engineering design and support for aviation projects from concept through permitting and construction.

Responsibilities
Provide engineering design and support for aviation projects from concept through permitting and construction
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and design teams to ensure successful delivery of projects
Coordinate with regulatory agencies, municipalities, utilities, and FAA representatives throughout the design and permitting process
Prepare and review permit packages for zoning, stormwater, environmental agencies, and aviation-specific requirements, including plans, details, calculations, and reports
Develop bid and construction packages with plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit documents for both land and aviation projects
Oversee preparation of technical reports such as assessments, preliminary engineering reports, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and airport layout plans
Provide guidance to staff engineers and review construction inspection reports to ensure compliance with contract documents and FAA standards
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
5 years plus of relevant experience in land development, aviation, or related fields
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and related design software; experience with FAA design standards is a plus
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Preferred
PE license preferred (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
