Responsibilities
Installation and commissioning of new machines in close cooperation with customers and partners
Perform service and repair tasks on existing installations to ensure smooth operation
Provide installation and repair services on supplementary equipment from partner suppliers
Offer training and guidance to customers on the best use of Westrup equipment
Qualification
Required
A background as millwright, machinist, blacksmith or similar
Experience with mechanical field service and repair jobs and basic welding skills
An interest in machines and controls including automation systems
Hold a driver's license and forklift qualification
Basic computer skills; MS Outlook for email and MS Office for reports and timesheets
Can plan, arrange and execute your service jobs on your own
Is proactive and sales oriented (for spares and service offerings)
Can travel 100-200 days annually across North America and occasionally to Europe
