Quality and Risk Specialist

The Quality and Risk Specialist position involves ensuring quality and safety for individuals served and staff, implementing risk management and compliance activities, and acting as a liaison with outside agencies.

Responsibilities
Implements duties under Devereux Florida Risk/Quality Management and Compliance Program to include activities involving risk management, incident reporting, investigations, compliance data collection & analysis and coordination of internal and external monitoring
This vital position will act as liaison between Devereux and outside agencies, e.g., Department of Children and Families, AHCA and the local police
Qualification
Required
High School or GED required
1-2 years experience in behavioral health setting or child welfare required
Proficient skills using computer software/programs required
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to attend a 3-day orientation Monday-Wednesday from 9am-5pm
Valid Driver's License
Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Screen and TB Test
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred
