Responsibilities
Take ownership of document remediation to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA and PDF/UA standards
Use accessibility software to fix issues in PDF documents, including tagging, correcting reading order, adding alt text for images, and resolving structural issues
Ensure documents are fully compatible with screen readers and other assistive technologies
Follow strict accessibility standards, workflows, and compliance requirements
Utilize tools such as Grackle and Adobe Acrobat Pro to add semantic structure to digital documents
Qualification
Required
Experience using business software applications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and correct complex document layouts
Ability to learn new software tools and workflows quickly
Comfortable working within defined standards and compliance-driven processes
Preferred
Experience building web pages or knowledge of HTML/CSS
Familiarity with ADA Title II and WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards
Accessibility-related certifications such as IAAP CPACC or similar
Prior experience with Grackle and Adobe Acrobat Pro
