Responsibilities
Lead process improvement initiatives to increase throughput, reduce waste, improve yield, and enhance overall operational efficiency
Analyze chemical manufacturing processes using datadriven methods to identify bottlenecks, variability, and opportunities for optimization
Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, SOPs, process flow diagrams, and operating parameters
Support daily plant operations, providing technical expertise to production teams and troubleshooting process issues in real time
Conduct root cause analyses for process deviations, equipment failures, and quality concerns, implementing corrective and preventive actions
Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including OSHA, EPA, and internal company policies
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams such as maintenance, quality, R&D, and EHS to support new product introductions and process changes
Monitor key process metrics, develop dashboards, and recommend adjustments to maintain stable and efficient operations
Evaluate and implement new technologies, equipment upgrades, and automation solutions to modernize plant capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or related field)
Experience in chemical manufacturing, batch or continuous processing, or related industrial environments
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proficiency in process modeling, statistical analysis, or data visualization tools
Familiarity with process safety management (PSM), hazard analysis (HAZOP), Management of Change (MOC), PreStartup Safety Review (PSSR) and risk assessment methodologies
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments
