Human Resources Manager
Take a Seat People is a growing ABA therapy provider in South Carolina, and they are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead day-to-day people operations. The HR Manager will oversee all core HR functions, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience across the organization.
Responsibilities
Manage HR operations including payroll coordination, W-2s, onboarding, offboarding, and hiring processes
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal and South Carolina labor laws
Handle workers’ compensation claims , including those involving higher-risk or aggressive client environments
Support efficient hiring and termination processes in roles with higher turnover (e.g., RBTs/DSPs)
Partner closely with company leadership to ensure HR processes run smoothly and consistently
Serve as a reliable point of contact for HR-related questions and guidance
Utilize HR systems effectively ( Paylocity experience is a strong plus )
Qualification
Required
Experience in an HR Generalist or HR Manager role
Strong understanding of hiring, onboarding, and termination best practices
Prior experience managing workers' compensation
Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
Comfortable working closely with leadership in a growing organization
HRIS/payroll system experience (Paylocity preferred, not required)
Healthcare, behavioral health, or service-industry experience is helpful but not essential
Preferred
