Responsibilities
Define and lead the technical vision for scalable, secure GCP platforms supporting AI-driven workloads
Embed Agentic AI capabilities into platform solutions to support adaptive and autonomous system behavior
Guide platforms from concept through production, ensuring reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability
Drive collaborative requirements engineering and agile testing to accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality
Connect platform, data, and application teams through shared architecture patterns and delivery standards
Own delivery plans, manage risks, and ensure consistent communication with senior stakeholders
Coach engineers and architects while promoting modern engineering practices and continuous improvement
Translate business objectives into practical, cloud-native platform solutions
Establish repeatable patterns for AI platform delivery at enterprise scale
Improve speed-to-market through disciplined Agile execution and DevOps automation
Influence architectural decisions that support long-term scalability and security
Act as a trusted technical advisor to both delivery teams and leadership
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience designing and delivering platforms on Google Cloud Platform
Strong command of GCP services including compute, data, containerization, and AI/ML capabilities
Hands-on knowledge of IAM, security controls, landing zones, and enterprise-scale GCP patterns
Deep understanding of Agentic AI systems and how they are operationalized in production environments
Strong software engineering foundation using Python, Java, Go, or similar languages
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices
Working knowledge of data pipelines, ETL, and streaming architectures
History of leading complex platform initiatives in large, matrixed environments
Ability to guide Agile delivery while balancing speed, quality, and risk
Strong stakeholder presence with the ability to articulate technical tradeoffs in business terms
Experience coordinating across engineering, data, product, and executive teams
Preferred
Google Cloud certifications (Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, or ML Engineer)
Experience implementing MLOps and AI lifecycle governance on GCP
Exposure to ethical AI principles and responsible AI frameworks
Prior leadership in collaborative engineering or enterprise architecture models similar to CREATe
