The Recruiting/Licensing Case Manager plays a crucial role in the Foster Care program by recruiting and supporting foster parents, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and facilitating the placement of foster children in homes.

Responsibilities

Attend events and professional organization meetings to network, educate on the need for foster/adoptive parents, and develop relationships to attain potential foster parents

Provide support to foster parents through the licensing process, orientation, ongoing training, and foster home evaluation/monitoring

Assist with the placement of foster children in homes and maintain communication with therapists and case managers regarding placement

Stay abreast of regulatory standards and interact with Foster Care Authority personnel to ensure regulatory compliance

Provide educational training to staff and foster parents

Qualification

Bachelor’s DegreeCWEL certificationChild welfare experienceCase management experienceCPRFirst AidValid Driver’s license

Required

Bachelor's Degree in an approved Human Service field (Child, Family, and Community Services, Social Work, Early Childhood Development, Guidance and Counseling, Psychology, Special Education, Child Development, Human Services, Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling, Human Development, Pastoral Care/Counseling, etc.)

CWEL required within 3 months of hire

Valid Driver's license in good standing, and current automobile insurance. Must obtain a valid IL license within 30 days of hire if moving from out of state

CPR and First Aid Certified, or ability to be certified within 30 days of hire
