Treasury Operations Analyst

Responsibilities
Gathers and evaluates information from multiple sources in support of the daily cash position and settlement processes to ensure that investment returns on Paychex corporate and client fund assets are maximized
Monitors the collection and processing of bank account data that is used by Paychex accounting groups to reconcile bank accounts, researching discrepancies as needed
Monitors the company’s FedWire and ACH payment queues to ensure that internal controls are met and payments are approved and released to payment systems in a timely manner
Communicates periodically with Paychex Managers, Directors, and Officers in regards to treasury matters to provide updates on support research and internal control requirements
Analyzes service fees billed by Tier II and III banking partners to ensure that volumes are appropriate and that unit costs are aligned with negotiated contracts
Works with Paychex Business Units, IT, and banking partners to research issues impacting the company’s liquidity position or Treasury systems, ensuring accuracy and mitigating fraud
Maintains a general to intermediate understanding of these functions and multiple third party software applications used by the Treasury Department to support its internal business partners
Maintains a general understanding of Paychex products and corporate cash flows to ensure that appropriate liquidity positions are maintained in all company bank accounts
Qualification
Required
1 year of experience in Related field
