Responsibilities

Interpret and scale drawings, ensure accurate window counts from elevations, and ensure accurate measurements during site visits
Identify project challenges and propose custom solutions
Use estimating software (Excel-based and proprietary) for quotes and project management
Stay current on industry trends by attending trade shows and events
Uphold company standards for quality and service; perform other duties as assigned

Required

Strong consultative sales approach and interpersonal skills for client relationships
Proficient in interpreting drawings, measurements, and specifications; accurate tape-measure skills
Ability to recommend tailored solutions, including technical aspects (glass types, models, specifications, U/R values, ROI)
Math and Excel proficiency required; experience with estimating software beneficial
Detail-oriented in managing custom projects and ensuring quote accuracy
B2B sales experience and interest in historic renovation/restoration are a plus
Willingness to travel 5-10%, local and out-of-state, with the ability to lead site visits and observe installations

Preferred

Trade school drafting experience and construction/field work (especially measuring/site visits)
Window industry knowledge helpful but not required
