Responsibilities

Assist in the month-end close process, prepare reports and other accounting processes as assigned by manager. Intern will work cross-functionally with the GL, AR, and treasury teams

Analyzing financial data to identify trends and discrepancies and assist in generating reports

Conduct and participate in discussions with finance and cross functional teams

Research externally available resources like accounting guidance and industry reference materials

Prepare an Inventory Reserve Calculation

Provide Commentary on net sales for one Monthly Presentation

Work with Accounts Receivable team to match remittances with open receivables

Utilize Power Query to streamline reconciliation processes
