Responsibilities
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on intrusion detection and surveillance systems of various types and manufacturers
Recommend solutions to design problems
Perform system tests and analyzing results, modifying equipment or installations to improve performance
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in electronics technology or a two-year civilian technical electronics curriculum or a four-year trade apprenticeship-training program in electronics or graduate of a military Class 'A' electronics school
Previous Intrusion Detection System experience can be substituted at the rate of one years' experience for each year of education
Must have as a minimum, eight years hands-on experience in the field of electronics
Experience must include operational, maintenance and team lead work assignments
Must be able to attain and maintain Secret clearance
Preferred
Working knowledge of multiple systems to include AMAG alarm monitoring and access control systems
DMP alarm monitor and reporting systems
FLIR RADARs and cameras
Genetec NVRs
Pelco cameras, DVRs, and video switchers
Networking protocols TCP/IP, network hubs, switchers, server connectivity
Windows Servers
Cisco Switches
Fiber communication equipment
WAVES MNS
Southwest Microwave Intrepid fence sensors
MS Server, Windows, Cisco, Security + and/or Tower Climber certifications a plus but not required
