Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate secure, cloud-native platforms leveraging deep expertise in AWS core services (e.g., EKS, VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS)
Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using modern tooling such as Terraform, Crossplane, or similar to automate platform delivery
Drive adoption of modern CI/CD pipelines and promote an 'automation-first' mindset across teams
Provide deep technical guidance in cloud infrastructure, performing code reviews and offering actionable technical feedback
Manage and mentor up to 6 direct reports, guiding their career development and fostering a culture of learning and growth
Perform HR management tasks for direct reports, including performance reviews, timesheet approvals, and compensation discussions
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
10+ years in software development or cloud infrastructure engineering
1+ years of experience mentoring or managing a technical team
Proven experience building, scaling, and managing containerized, cloud-native platforms, with strong AWS expertise
