The Colorado Department of Revenue is seeking an Inter-Agency Coordinator for the Office of Environmental Justice to advance environmental justice initiatives in Colorado. Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the coordination of inter-agency environmental justice efforts
This position works closely with environmental justice policy leads within CDPHE, executive branch agencies, local government agencies, federal agencies, and other interested parties to maintain communication and coordinate policy and programming efforts that advance environmental justice goals
This position analyzes environmental justice policy across state and local agencies and identifies opportunities to promote collaboration
This position also advises leadership and staff within the Office of Environmental Justice (OEJ) and develops strategy for intergovernmental coordination on environmental justice projects such as EnviroScreen and the Environmental Equity and Cumulative Impact Analysis

Required

This position is only open to current, permanent residents of the State of Colorado
Six (6) years of relevant experience supporting collaborative development or implementation of public policy related to public health, environmental health, environmental justice, environmental law, or a related discipline within state or local government
A combination of related education in public policy, public administration, public affairs, environmental health, public health, environmental justice, environmental law and/or relevant experience in supporting collaborative development or implementation of public policy related to public health, environmental health, environmental justice, environmental law, or a related discipline within state or local government equal to six (6) years
This experience must be substantiated within the Work Experience section of your application

Preferred

Experience working within state or local government in Colorado
Working knowledge of Colorado environmental justice policy
Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with a broad set of stakeholders
Experience coordinating and/or facilitating cross-functional working groups or other collaborative bodies
Experience conducting public policy analysis and/or developing strategy for public policy implementation
