Departmental Specialist 14 - Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities
Managing high-level correspondence
Coordinating stakeholder engagement
Ensuring timely and accurate communication with internal and external partners, including legislators and the public
Serving as a liaison and technical advisor across agencies and organizations that serve the needs of individuals with disabilities
Representing bureau leadership in meetings
Facilitating informed decision-making
Leading bureau-wide communications, VR-related education, and performance initiatives
Supporting cross-division coordination, policy development, and program planning aligned with bureau and federal priorities
Assisting the bureau director with tasks that enhance executive office efficiency and effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level
