UC Davis Health Informatics is seeking a Director for the Office of Global Programs (OGP) to lead and coordinate global engagement activities within the School of Veterinary Medicine. The role involves strategic interaction with faculty, staff, and students, as well as the development and implementation of educational and research opportunities aligned with the school's mission.

Required

Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
Master's degree or above in a health-related discipline
At least three years experience involving veterinary medicine and program management
Specialized knowledge and technical training in veterinary medicine, international development, One Health, infectious diseases, data management, or similar disciplines
Demonstrated skills in academic program and research management, including program planning, project coordination, technical implementation, budgeting, resource use tracking, evaluation of outcomes, and integration of research into academic and institutional objectives
Strong skills to write in technical language and communicate multimedia health information to stakeholder groups ranging from the scientific community to government ministry and policy makers, as well as to a lay audience
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, government agencies, funding organizations, and international partners

Preferred

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree
International experience conducting and coordinating public health, wildlife health, human health or related population health research or training
Experience working with students, staff, faculty, executives, businesses, and multiple levels of governmental agencies
Ability to speak a language in addition to English
