Amity Foundation is an internationally acclaimed teaching and therapeutic community seeking compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join as an LCSW Clinician in their LACTC project. The Clinician will be responsible for providing mental health services, including assessments, treatment planning, and counseling for students in the prison program.

Responsibilities

Maintain clinical supervision, including review of student (student/participant) files, and have the ability to perform initial and/or ongoing student (student/participant) assessments

Provide mental health structured therapeutic services

Provide gender-responsive, trauma-informed, structured treatment services, including implementation of trauma-informed curriculum

Provide individual, family, and group counseling

Provide specialized classes and workshops relevant to the population (including Domestic Violence, Incest Survivors, Family Relationships, and other topics as needed)

Work with the Managing Director to develop and maintain the program culture

Ensure the program has family-focused services and is trauma-informed

Integrate the assessed and stated goals of student (participants) work in coordination with the ARC/JCOD staff in determining continuum of care services for student (participants) including educational and vocational planning

Participate in case conferences

Responsible for all aspects of medical, dental, mental health related appointments, including making appointments, follow-up, arranging transportation and prescriptions
