Leadership Trainee Program
Modern Ice Equipment & Supply is North America’s #1 full-line provider to the packaged-ice industry, seeking ambitious graduates for their 24-Month Leadership Development Program. Participants will gain hands-on experience through warehouse immersion and cross-functional rotations, preparing them for leadership roles within the company.
Responsibilities
Master inbound/outbound operations, ERP/WMS transactions, and forklift skills
Own accuracy, quality, safety, and compliance on the warehouse floor
Choose 2–3 rotations (≈ 6 months each) such as:
Sales & Account Management—quote customers and help close deals
Project Engineering—design ice-plant layouts and spec equipment
Supply Chain & Purchasing—optimize inventory and supplier performance
Logistics Optimization—slash freight costs and elevate on-time delivery
Technical Service—troubleshoot equipment with pros in the field
Marketing/Product Development—launch cold-chain innovations
Finance/Business Analytics—turn raw data into profit-boosting dashboards
Present a high-impact project and KPI scorecards to senior leadership—then walk straight into your first post-program role (Account Manager, Project Engineer, Operations Supervisor, and more)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree by start date (all majors welcome; STEM, business, or supply-chain a plus)
Proven drive—internships, sports, clubs, entrepreneurial hustle
Curiosity, analytical chops, and willingness to start in a hands-on warehouse role
Ability and willingness to physical labor and thrive in varied temperature zones during warehouse phase
