Responsibilities

Inspect, refurbish, adjust, calibrate, and repair an extensive array of mechanical and electromechanical equipment, including chairs, stands, slit lamps, tonometers, refractometers, phoropters, and other advanced optometric and ophthalmic equipment

Execute routine maintenance activities to ensure optimal functionality of all equipment

Conduct safety checks and potentially provide training to practitioners on the proper operation of equipment

Disassemble equipment to identify sources of malfunctions or inaccuracies. Replace or repair defective components, and reassemble equipment with precision adjustments

Documenting service processes and keeping detailed records of work performed, parts used and pictures of completed products

Uphold a safe and clean work environment by adhering to prescribed procedures, rules, and regulations

Exhibit professionalism and deliver exceptional customer service
