Responsibilities
Develop and execute software tests to identify and address stability & functional issues ensuring high quality Wireless Software
Define and execute test plans to validate Wi-Fi/BT &Thread features of Apple products, ensuring they meet stability requirements
Raise issues and follow up with the development team to identify the root cause using Apple internal tools
Investigate user/field issues, and perform engineering analysis to understand and add test coverage for reproduction
Automate testcases in objective C framework and contribute to test coverage automation
Build, configure, and maintain test infrastructure to efficiently execute test plans across various software releases
Collaborate closely with development teams to validate software and firmware patches and fixes
Qualification
Required
Experience in testing Wireless technologies - WiFi and/or Bluetooth - Functional or Performance or Stability Testing
Preferable to have automation experience in any of the programming languages - C/C++ or scripting skills in python/shell
Deep understanding of SQA methodologies & practices
Good Understanding and working knowledge of WiFi and/or BT protocols preferred, CWNA preferred
Good understanding of Operating System concepts
Experience in developing test strategies and test methodologies
Experience in developing automated test cases
Can clearly communicate and drive projects across many teams
Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering
Preferred
Masters degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering
