They are seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure that all products meet high standards for safety, consistency, and quality through inspections, testing, and documentation during the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities
Perform audits or other QA functions on the production floor including line clearance and routine line checks
Perform pH analysis on batches, verifying all samples meet the batch specification and take appropriate action when samples are outside the acceptable ranges
Adjust pH of batches to meet specification. Calibrates the pH meter as required
Receives, logs, and stores production retains
Completes necessary paperwork for quality control and operations based on scheduled production
Perform microbiological analyses of aqueous batches and ingredients, using established microbiological methods and procedures
Monitor finished goods product quality to ensure compliance to standards and specifications
Inspect all incoming raw materials and packaging materials ensuring they meet specifications and standards
Approve all batch records ensuring the final product meets the standard and the batch record is complete without error
Participates in training, employee meetings, committees, project teams, etc. as appropriate
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Computer proficiency including word processing and spreadsheet software
Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and strong understanding of multiple units of measurement
Strong attention to detail and organization
Good communication skills with the ability to express ideas with clarity and thoroughness in both verbal and written communications
Must be able to routinely lift up to 50lbs

Preferred
Experience preferred in the pharmaceutical, food or personal care industry is ideal and working knowledge of cGMP
