Quality Manager
Shiloh Industries is focused on quality assurance in manufacturing and services, and they are seeking a Quality Manager to develop and maintain the Quality System. The role involves working with Engineering and Program Management on quality planning, managing audits, and ensuring compliance with standards while leading the Quality team.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Quality System to assure that the products manufactured and services provided meet customer requirements
Work with Engineering and Program Management on advance quality planning of future programs
Ensure customer and supplier requirements are met through the customer approval process (PPAP) and that all special characteristics identified during product development are monitored using statistical techniques throughout the manufacturing process
Manage the internal audit schedule; administer all Quality activities as defined in the relevant corporate, local, and statutory standards; oversee implementation of applicable World Class Quality Systems; and ensure certification and compliance with applicable standards
Manage and provide oversight for the supplier base for purchased components and raw material
Drive continuous improvement post S.O.P. Supplier Development and Quality performance
Lead and manage customer, third party, and internal audits through scheduling, task assignments, preparation, and required corrective actions
Oversee Quality team members through assignments, performance appraisals, technical guidance, and training activities related to product quality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
Four years of experience as a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, or a related occupation
Four years of experience utilizing tools such as 8D, A3 Reports, PDCA Cycle, 5 Why, Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagram, or Cause and Effect Analysis
Four years of experience working with quality system and layer process audits
Four years of experience in data collection and statistical analysis using software such as Minitab
Four years of experience in Poka-Yoke error-proofing techniques and continuous improvement with Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing Principles
Four years of experience utilizing inspection techniques for Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) characteristics and destructive and non-destructive testing methods
Four years of experience working with Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and risk assessment and mitigation
Four years of experience utilizing Visual Management Systems and workplace organization methods such as 5S Methodology
