Responsibilities

Support enforcement of Campbell’s IP rights against third-party infringement by monitoring unauthorized uses, developing enforcement strategies, sending cease-and-desist letters, negotiating resolutions, and assisting with litigation or administrative actions
Assist in managing IP claims against the company, including negotiating settlements and supporting litigation or administrative proceedings
Help achieve business goals through negotiating, drafting, and enforcing IP agreements for licensing, acquisitions, divestitures, merchandise programs, and internal corporate agreements
Support trademark clearance, protection, and use by counseling on mark selection, reviewing clearance searches, coordinating filings and renewals with outside counsel, and advising on proper trademark usage
Promote IP awareness, effective communication, and compliance to avoid mistakes and ensure excellence in IP-related processes and policies
Deliver cost-effective legal services through careful budgeting and management of outside counsel and vendors

Required

BA/BS from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 3 years of law firm and/or in-house IP experience
Excellent analytical and communication skills (oral and written)
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; proven team player
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to interact effectively with business partners and operate with limited supervision

Preferred

Experience with global trademark portfolio management
Familiarity with IP enforcement strategies and litigation support
Exposure to IP transactions, licensing, and compliance programs
Budget management and vendor oversight experience
