Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of analytics engineers; set priorities, unblock challenges, and ensure timely delivery
Own project lifecycle: define scope, gather requirements, develop execution plans, and oversee implementation
Partner with senior business leaders to identify opportunities and convert insights into measurable outcomes
Ensure adherence to best practices in data governance, documentation, and operational efficiency
Communicate progress and results clearly to stakeholders and executive leadership
Provide strategic guidance on technical approaches without being the primary implementer
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
9+ years in a data-related role, with significant project and team management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Familiarity with SQL and Python (ability to review and guide, not necessarily implement daily)
Understanding of data modeling, BI tools (e.g., Tableau), and governance principles
Ability to translate complex business needs into structured, actionable plans
Preferred
Proven track record managing technical teams and delivering complex projects
Experience in financial services or alternative investments
