Responsibilities
Leads full cycle recruiting including posting, interview coordination, and onboarding
Maintains relationships with the Union and ensures employee treatment aligns with company values
Manages employee relation issues, including complaints, grievances, counseling, and investigations
Address complex industrial relations matters promptly and effectively
Supports development and delivery onboarding and employe programs
Provides consultation to managers and employees on HR policies and employee relations
Contributes to the development and upkeep of the Policy Manuals
Supports the performance appraisal process
Serves as back up for Payroll processing
Assists with HR audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
Five to Seven years' previous experience in employee and industrial relations
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Solid knowledge of HR policies, employment legislation, and HR best practices
High attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization
Preferred
Human Resource certification preferred
