Responsibilities
Assist with document management, organization and opening/closing of files
Coordinate with clients, attorneys and other parties to schedule client meetings, court dates, depositions, and other litigation-related meetings, and manage the attorney’s Outlook calendar
Assist with all aspects of litigation including filings in all state and federal courts, drafting correspondence, notices of discovery to opposing counsel, and other form documents
Assist with time entry and billings
Provide general administrative assistance
Use legal software (NetDocs, ShareFile, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Detail-oriented
Motivated, fast learner
Written and verbal communication skills
Time management and organization skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience
2-5 years of experience in an office setting, preferably at a law firm or within another law-related setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience with legal software (NetDocs)
