Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze reports to support the firm's broker-dealer financial statements, regulatory compliance, and monthly management reports
Arrange and analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP, firm policies, procedures, and tax reporting requirements
Organize consolidation entries for firm-owned entities and accounting reports to assist the partnership tax department
Prepare and post journal entries as part of the financial reporting process
Handle other ad hoc requests or special projects as needed
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Required

Minimum three years of recent progressive accounting and finance experience; preferably within a professional services environment
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required preferably in finance or accounting; CPA preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, data retrieval systems and reporting systems; Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle FCCS, and SAP preferred
Ability to independently organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Capability to consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a high-quality work product
