Responsibilities

Design and maintain the structure and usability of Johnsonville’s intranet

Manage internal communication channels, including email newsletters and leader updates

Develop and oversee a content calendar and governance processes to keep communications timely and consistent

Write articles, blog posts, and create compelling PowerPoint presentations

Collaborate with internal business partners to develop and execute communications plans

Explore new tools and technologies—including AI—to improve efficiency and enhance communication delivery

Develop and execute internal communications strategies aligned to enterprise priorities

Own and optimize internal communication channels to ensure clarity, consistency, and engagement

Lead governance and measurement practices to improve communications effectiveness

Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful messaging

Support change-management initiatives by creating communications that drive awareness, adoption, and engagement

Monitor communications execution and effectiveness, seeking feedback and driving continuous improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field required

Minimum five years' experience in a communications, journalism, public relations or similar role, required

Organized and resourceful, able to juggle priorities and work independently

Tech-curious with a passion for learning and embracing new solutions

A planner who thrives on structure but can pivot when needed

Results-driven with a focus on delivering impact

A connector who builds strong relationships and partnerships

Adaptable, self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude

Experience within the operations/manufacturing industry, strongly preferred
