Responsibilities

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions for Communications Satellites Command and Control architectures, platform development, and network infrastructure

Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces

Conducts technology trade studies, identifies evaluation criterions, and cost/technology feasibility analysis

Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture

Performs analyses for mission performance, affordability, reliability, maintainability, testability, systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, and, product assurance

Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes

Resolves cross-functional technical issues

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Lead, Level 4: Typically, 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

Senior, Level 5: Typically, 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

Knowledge of Model-based Systems Engineering, process and tools

5+ years of related work experience OR 3+ years of related work experience with a Master's degree

Jira and Confluence tool experience

Experience in design for systems of systems communication architectures

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
