Capital Markets Analyst
FHLBanks Office of Finance serves as the joint fiscal agent for the 11 Federal Home Loan Banks, and they are seeking a Capital Markets Analyst for an entry-level rotational role. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple functions within the Capital Markets department over a two-year rotation period.

Responsibilities
Assist in daily activities related to short-term and long-term funding, as well as debt servicing. This includes coordinating and supporting the issuance of Consolidated Obligations (COs) for the FHLBanks, managing debt settlements and payments, and producing funding indications and guidelines
Collect and evaluate data from multiple sources, applying both qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform recommendations and decision-making
Prepare and deliver market analysis and commentaries to internal and external stakeholders. Gather and analyze capital markets activities and data trends
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal OF teams, the 11 FHLBanks, over 60 dealers, interest rate derivative counterparties, and other key market participants
Contribute to the development and upkeep of business process documentation, workflow diagrams, and support various Capital Markets initiatives and projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in Power BI or other business intelligence tools preferred
Demonstrated familiarity with debt capital markets, fixed income, derivatives and statistical concepts
Strong technical, analytical, organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize effectively
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment that values inclusivity and collaboration. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Self-starter with the ability to solve problems, complete tasks independently and on time, with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, including the ability to listen actively, integrate diverse perspectives, build respectful relationships, and resolve conflicts constructively
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
