Manufacturing Engineer
Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail. The Manufacturing Engineer will coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive execution on projects related to line development and manage production line layout, design, and compliance processes.

Responsibilities
Lead production line layout and design, SOP development, support PPAP’s and facilitate implementation
Coordinate activities with project leads, external resources, and engineering on implementation activities
Develop project timelines with owner, clear actions, and firms dates and complete on-time
Manage capex and expense budgets including spend, tracking, and asset depreciation
Establish process for BOM updates and compliance
Support and assist with maintenance activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering field from an accredited college
At least 3+ years of relevant experience
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Demonstrated ability to operate in multiple modes: shop floor hands on and tactical project execution
Ability to hold self and other to firm timelines and sets clear expectations
Self-starter; takes the initiative to identify and implement new ideas
Adds positive presence to team and culture
Strong Project Management skills
Excellent written / oral communication skills, influencing and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical / problem solving skills
Ability to work with a variety of teams including both the shop floor and salary exempt personnel
