Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales team to achieve and exceed revenue, growth, and profitability targets
Execute corporate sales strategies at the regional level, translating objectives into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
Manage regional sales performance through pipeline reviews, forecasting, and data-driven analysis to ensure accuracy and accountability
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as an escalation point and strategic partner to support retention and growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure seamless execution and a consistent customer experience
Monitor and manage regional budgets, pricing strategies, and discounting to protect margins while remaining competitive
Ensure sales activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent while fostering a performance-driven, collaborative sales culture
Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on regional performance, risks, and opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 3 years in a sales leadership or management role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding regional sales targets in a B2B sales environment
Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams to drive performance and accountability
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and financial metrics to inform strategy and decision making
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Ability to travel within the assigned region as required

Preferred

Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field
Experience leading regional sales teams within manufacturing, industrial, or technical B2B environments
Demonstrated success managing complex, consultative sales cycles and strategic customer accounts
Strong experience with CRM systems, sales analytics, and pipeline management tools to drive data-informed decisions
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
Experience developing and executing regional growth strategies, including market expansion and key account penetration
Knowledge of pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and margin management
History of building high performing engaged sales teams with low turnover and strong succession pipelines
