Onboarding and Experience Specialist, HR Operations
Rochester Regional Health is seeking an Onboarding and Experience Specialist to manage onboarding activities for new team members and transfers. This role focuses on ensuring a positive onboarding experience and providing ongoing support to new hires during their first year.

Responsibilities
Responsible for building relationship with new team members and existing employees throughout the pre-employment and transfer onboarding process
Responsible for mentoring the candidate through the onboarding process, communicating next steps and timelines to ensure validation of qualifications in a timely manner
Communicates candidate status to key stakeholders such as: hiring manager, recruiter, learning and development and any additional departments throughout the onboarding process
Manages all pre-employment background checks to include those required by company or regulatory authorities
Partners with affiliations to schedule pre-employment health appointments for new team members
Performs other duties as assigned
Responsible for supporting new team members through their first year of employment
Responsible for creating an environment of engaging and belonging for new team members
Responsible for communicating to leader identified issues related to new team members experience
Responsible for collecting and documenting new team member feedback and sharing with appropriate parties
Qualification
Required
2 years of relatable experience required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to build relationships
Critical thinking skills with the ability to sense environments and people in need of support
Knowledge of personnel procedures and policies
Detailed oriented and client focused
Ability to prioritize workload, multitask and meet deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to take initiative and complete assignments against deadlines
Communicates information and ideas clearly and articulately both in written and verbal form. Ability to adapt communication style and methods based on audience and purpose of communication
Prioritizes workload and tasks appropriately and ensure most critical are addressed in a timely manner
Demonstrates strong customer service skills, with intentions to help and support needs of people and the business
