Team Collaboration: Partner with maintenance teams and contractors to coordinate necessary repairs and improvements, maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Mentor Others: Share your knowledge with maintenance staff, providing training on code compliance and best practices in property management
Communicate Effectively: Keep open lines of communication with city officials, residents, and management to ensure everyone is informed and involved
Conduct Inspections: Regularly inspect properties to identify potential violations and areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans when needed
Resource Coordination: Manage materials, inspections, and contractor schedules to keep projects running smoothly
Safety First: Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations, creating a safe environment for everyone
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
At least four years of experience in maintenance management or a related field, especially in multifamily settings
Physical ability to conduct site inspections and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites (up to 50% of your time)
Availability for on-call duties and after-hours emergencies as needed
Preferred
Relevant certifications are a plus
Experience with RealPage products is a bonus
Previous experience with city code compliance projects is a great advantage
