They are seeking a Signal Engineer IV responsible for engineering rail signal systems, including circuit design and vital logic programming while adhering to customer specifications and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Engineering rail signal systems, including circuit design and vital logic programming
Working within customer specifications, FRA regulations, AREMA standards, M.U.T.C.D standards and ISO-9001 requirements
Work on a team to complete railroad signaling projects for our customers
Circuit design, vital logic programming, wayside interface unit programming, quality checking, and material estimating for wayside signal locations, at-grade highway crossing locations, and railway yards
Work within CADD programs (Microstation and AutoCad)
Attend project meetings
Manage and organize files within a document control system
Review deliverables for proper version and accuracy prior to delivery
Produce documentation as required by the ISO-9001 Quality Management System
Work on multiple projects in different stages at the same time

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
3-5 years of signaling experience required
Proficient with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
