Job Costing Data Analyst

Responsibilities
Gather and analyze costs for individual jobs, including labor, materials, and overhead
Determine profit margins by comparing job costs to revenue
Identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual costs
Create reports and dashboards for management with actionable insights
Provide cost data for financial projections and budgeting
Recommend cost-saving measures and operational efficiencies
Strong ability to interpret complex data and identify trends
Understanding of cost accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting
Expertise in Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Global Shop Solutions)
Crucial for precise cost tracking and data integrity
Ability to present findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred or 5 years of experience in similar role
Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident in compliance with ITAR regulations
Strong analytical, accounting, and software skills (Excel, ERP systems)
