Product Design Engineer - Watch
Apple is seeking a Product Design Engineer to be part of a small and visible team of Mechanical Engineers focused on the design of the WATCH. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance Apple's first wearable product line.

Responsibilities
Define and design the future of WATCH
Work closely with cross-functional teams like Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Antenna, Reliability, Sensors, Environmental, and Marketing to bring future products to life
Be responsible for all of the mechanical parts that make up the Watch in all sizes and materials, as well as the metal mesh, metal link, and rubber bracelets
Qualification
Required
BSME
3+ years in detailed part and product design
CAD and drawings (GD&T)
Plastic and metal part design
Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly
Analytical and problem solving skills as applied to Mechanical Engineering
Working knowledge of FEA
Application of statistical tools and techniques
Preferred
MS preferred
3-7 years in detailed part and product design
Strong materials knowledge
Mass-production
Experience working with overseas manufacturers
