Blueville Nursery Inc is seeking a Small Engine and Service Technician to join their team. The role involves servicing and repairing mowers and small engine equipment, ensuring all tools and shop areas are maintained in a clean and organized manner.

Construction

Responsibilities

Service and repair mowers daily

Inspect and sharpen mower blades daily

Blow off mowers and blowout air filters daily

Check all belts and hoses daily

Complete visual inspection daily of mowers, blowers and weed eaters for issues

Check all fluids and fill accordingly daily

Repair equipment for following day or take out of service for repair

Grease all mowers once a week

Change mower oil on schedule

Check mower truck oil and fluids weekly

Check tire pressure and wear on mower trucks and trailers weekly

Provide service and repair to all small engine equipment and trailers

Service and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner

Complete biannual service of all small equipment

Inspect trailers routinely for preventative maintenance (lights, tires, wiring, etc.)

Maintain service tools and keep shop area clean

Check and lock all buildings

Communicate with Supervisor daily on all repairs and service

Assists with other tasks as needed
