Responsibilities
Assist in the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of compressor packages and related equipment
Support operation and performance monitoring of compressors and provide feedback on equipment condition and functionality
Plan, organize, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) activities and other scheduled maintenance tasks
Perform entry-level diagnostic and repair activities, with increasing responsibility based on experience and skill level
Assist with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of compressor systems
Support maintenance activities at other field locations as required
Comply with all safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and site-specific safety standards
Operate and assist with heavy equipment such as cranes and manlifts as required
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and operations personnel
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and follow established safety protocols
Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1 year of experience or training related to compression processes, production operations, and compressor equipment
Basic knowledge of gas compression processes and motor-driven compressors (e.g., Waukesha, Ariel, Caterpillar, or similar)
Mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of compressor packages, components, and systems
Working knowledge of relevant safety procedures and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Strong teamwork, communication (written and oral), analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and manage time effectively
Valid Driver's License required
Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet acceptable company policy standards
Ability to operate heavy equipment, including cranes and manlifts
Ability to stand for up to 75% of the workday and sit for up to 25% of the workday
Ability to climb ladders and stairs and maintain balance without assistance
Ability to frequently lift at least 10 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds
Ability to work in high-noise environments (greater than 85 dBA) with required hearing protection
Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold conditions
Potential exposure to hazardous chemicals (controlled and in accordance with safety procedures)
Ability to work in confined spaces and perform tasks requiring stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and using mobile devices, including responding to alarms and emergency cues
Required use of PPE, including fire-retardant clothing, hard hats, face shields, hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots
Ability to frequently use computers and office equipment such as printers, copiers, telephones, and calendars
Preferred
OEM training, trade school certification, or comparable work experience in a related field or industry
