Responsibilities

Seek out new clients, nurture loan relationships, and identify referral opportunities
Dive deep into loan requests, conduct interviews, and provide your expert recommendation on whether to approve or deny loans
Monitor existing loans, keeping them in top shape and ensuring clients are meeting repayment terms
Build trust with customers while identifying their needs and recommending tailored solutions, including deposit products and more
Represent Northrim Bank at local events, trade shows, and in the community
Manage SBA, USDA, and BIA loans, ensuring everything’s in compliance and running smoothly

Required

A bachelor's degree in a related field OR an equivalent mix of education and experience
At least 3 years in the financial industry (with 1 year in direct lending)
Strong communication skills
A solid understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and business law
Detail-oriented and motivated by challenges
Must be comfortable using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Small business lending experience
