Responsibilities

Strong expertise in PCBA design analysis, reverse engineering, and diagnosis/troubleshooting to address our repair goals. Candidate should be capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting defective boards, with or without relevant design documentation
Skilled at developing comprehensive board repair plans—including approaches, timelines, and identifying technical dependencies
Applying critical thinking to troubleshoot PCBA issues without design documents
Proficient in using PCB troubleshooting equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers
Work with minimum guidance
Good track record of on time delivery
Attitude to persevere through tough challenges
Good understanding on Power supplies and electrical systems will be a plus
There might be International travel occasionally ability to work effectively with both junior and senior-level team members, bringing in a collaborative environment communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
Top skills: hands on expertise in PCBA analysis, reverse engineering, board level troubleshooting
We have bunch of defective parts – identifying what could go wrong with the board/what went wrong and capture this information
Not a day-to-day repair technician – we just look at the board and outline failure points
Diagnose defective boards and structure repair plans
Basic fixture designs
Troubleshooting tools - oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and logic analysers
Good understanding on Power supplies and electrical systems will be a plus
Document all the findings in a way technician could also understand, follow the procedures to perform repairs
Minimum 13 to 18 years of experience or 10+ years (preferably not exceeding 18 years of experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering - a MUST HAVE
We might not have all the design documents
Ability to understand how a circuit functions in a given board – what could potentially go wrong (strong sense of engineering fundamentals)
Most of our boards are legacy boards
Testing – only 20% of the job (majority is how circuit works – reverse engineering activities)
Semiconductor equipment, medical equipment
Stay in the cleanrooms for multiple days for testing
Looking into PCBA – coming up with block diagrams – identify problem areas and fixes and eventually document them
