Responsibilities
Manage and grow the team that designs, develops and operates an online experimentation platform to enable on-device and device/server combined ML workflows. For example, build a service to rollout / rollback experiments to billions of devices in just few hours, build highly scalable data systems to process billions of events daily
Develop and grow a strong team of senior systems engineers
Set the vision, multi-year roadmap and execution plans for the platform in collaboration with senior cross-functional leaders across Apple
Attract and develop talent, fostering a technical culture that encourages innovation and collaboration. This also includes nurturing technical leaders within AIML organization
Drive engineering quality for the platform
Qualification
Required
5+ years of managing teams through organizational change and growth
Experience leading strategic technical projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong understanding of iOS, macOS fundamentals and frameworks, or similar Operating Systems
Experience with daemon and framework development
Proven ability to deliver iOS/macOS or similar OS production grade software
Highly technical, detail oriented, and willing to drive architecture and solutions
Experience with one or more of the following languages: Objective-C, Swift, C/C++, etc
Experience with shipping online Experimentation systems
Experience with independently networking, learning, and influencing cross-functional teams
B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
