Responsibilities

Responsible for day to day support and optimization of software applications, including builds, upgrades, and system enhancements
Analyzes business and clinical needs to evaluate software releases and new products
Provides recommendations to optimize processes and reduce expenses
Possesses in depth business, clinical, and application knowledge and experience
Performs and documents workflow assessments to determine functional requirements for optimal application use
Develops system test plans and executes testing for software upgrades and patches
Maintains records of test progress and results
Handles problem, incident, change management, and service requests
Works within a cross functional team and collaborates with end users to meet business and clinical integration needs
Communicates software issues, requirements, upgrades, and enhancements
Oversees smaller sized projects or project components
Coordinates implementation or project planning related to software application releases
