Responsibilities

Analyzing and translating business and user requirements into high level designs and functional specifications which could include design of new or changed processing, data requirements user interfaces, and/or database design

Participating in innovation by learning to identify and present alternative solutions to solve business needs and articulating the pros and cons of the various approaches

Participating in internal and customer meetings to clarify requirements, formulate design approaches and confirm that they meet the business needs

Collaborating with other product design teams to ensure that integration and interfaces between our products are an integral part of the planning and design process

Required

Minimum of five years' related experience in a software development environment

Preferred

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree

Healthcare (Health Plan) industry preferred

Subject Matter Expertise in one or more disciplines of a Health Plan (e.g., Claims, EDI, ITS, Billing, Membership, Utilization/Care Management…etc)
