Responsibilities
Create detailed plans, specifications, cost estimates, and bid documents for restoration projects
Gather geomorphic, ecological, and hydrologic field data to support project designs
Perform hydraulic modeling to aid in permitting and compliance processes
Manage construction inspections and ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; graduate degree preferred
8-10 years of experience in river, stream, wetland, or floodplain restoration; familiarity with Rosgen's Natural Channel Design preferred
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), preferably in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, or Tennessee
Expertise in hydraulic modeling (Hec-RAS) and AutoCAD, with a proven record of managing large-scale environmental projects
Experience with stamping mitigation projects required

Graduate degree preferred
Familiarity with Rosgen's Natural Channel Design preferred
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), preferably in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, or Tennessee
