Official Records Specialist II
The Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, Palm Beach County is seeking an Official Records Specialist II to assist in a paper reduction project. The role involves reviewing scanned documents against original copies to ensure quality and performing basic data entry as needed.

Responsibilities
Review scanned documents/images and compare against the original documents to ensure quality. Review includes looking for image quality, presence of all documents and pages within the documents, accuracy of data entries in viewing system and retaining any original documents required by statute
Rescan of pages or documents as needed (missing pages/poor quality)
Perform basic data entry to correct any discrepancies identified in the system
Report any issues found and document readiness of physical paper files for destruction
Qualification
Required
High school diploma (or GED)
Three (3) years of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to accurately apply acute attention to detail in maintenance of detailed data, preferably in an automated systems environment
Ability to lift file boxes weighing up to 40 pounds
Once qualified, deputization may be required to perform the assigned functions
