The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a temporary Screen Print Operator to assist in making gospel teachings accessible through garment production. The role involves preparing garments for printing, maintaining equipment, and ensuring print quality.

Responsibilities

Receives sewn product and verifies product information

Assists in setting up and aligning screens, plates, inks in preparation for printing

Loads and unloads printing equipment

May manually apply print to product

Identifies and replaces misprinted or unacceptable garments

Assists in mixing inks, creating screens and plates

Keeps screens and plates clean

Maintains and cleans machine and work area

Must be able to detect color variations to ensure print integrity

Coordinates with supervisor on daily needs and assignments

Performs general housekeeping duties for products and assigned areas

High degree of accuracy in counting and comparing information

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Must be able to effectively communicate with the team

Must be able to understand and communicate effectively in English to understand safety instructions, training, and team communications. Candidates must be able to successfully complete interviews and assessments fully in English with no translation services provided in order to assess English proficiency

Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and perform fast, repetitive movements for a minimum of 8 hours per day

Must be able to physically lift/move/push/pull items up to 25lbs. alone (or occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. with two people)

Operate a pallet jack containing up to 2,500 lbs

Stand and move throughout the shift

The nature of this work is physical demanding and fast-paced

Work overtime, if needed, based on production needs

Preferred

High School diploma or equivalent highly preferred

Experience in a fast paced production environment preferred
